Learning for Life

Dear Families,

Thank you for taking this opportunity to learn more about The Little Red Schoolhouse. It is our hope

this introduction will answer some of your initial questions. Please feel free to contact the director or a staff member with further questions or requests to tour our campus.

In His Name,

Robyn Dalberg - Director/Teacher

Mrs. Dams, Mrs. Veach, Mrs. T

and Mrs. Whitford - Teachers

When you ask yourself that ever important (and somewhat daunting) question "What do I want for my child?" having a love of learning is almost certain to pop up on your list!  That is what we want for your child too! At Little Red, we strive to put your mind at ease while your little one enjoys opportunities that will support his or her spiritual, physical, social, and emotional development.

Our goal is to prepare children to succeed in

learning and in life!  While our early childhood

education program is a perfect blend

of structure and exploration,

and our caring staff is highly trained,

the real reason both parents and students LOVE Little Red has more to do with what an exciting place it is to learn.

We are nestled amongst nature and history that many of us don't get to experience in the hustle and bustle of daily life! Our students have walking access to our very own Bonhoeffer Botanical Gardens full of plants and shrubs indigenous to our area as well as the developing Living History Museum just across the street

from our new campus.

Walking paths lead students past butterfly gardens and birdhouses, and in the future, over bridges to

watch spawning salmon!

There is an innate opportunity here to engage in nature, which increases interest and spontaneous learning that just does not exist in towns and cities. This lovely setting is also an ideal location for parents from a variety of communities. We're conveniently located just east of I-5 at exit 215, only 8 minutes from Stanwood Haggen, 15 minutes from Skagit Hospital or Smokey Point Target! Our students move up to schools in Arlington, Marysville, Camano Island, Anacortes, Mt. Vernon, Conway, and Stanwood.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about our school.  We would love to have you call for a tour or further information while considering the best place for your preschooler to begin their educational experience.

Please note that during summer, our phones are occasionally

only checked weekly so please be patient waiting for phone replies.

You may also choose to email us for a more prompt response.
