The Little Red Schoolhouse is a nonprofit organization in Stanwood, Washington established by 

a group of local early childhood educators who believed that our area was in need of a more academically creative and challenging experience for youngsters ages 3-5 years old.

Our current highly qualified, motivated, and dedicated teachers continue on in the 

tradition of their program that had served our community well for many years.

We consider ourselves a ministry that is devoted to the spiritual, physical, social, and emotional 

development of children. Our goal is to encourage a view of God present in our world and active in our daily lives. We desire to impart the value of God’s love for them through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We are committed to helping young people achieve success by instilling in them a 

life-long love for learning. 

We acknowledge that children learn in a variety of ways. We strive to offer child-centered activities that will support and encourage various learning styles.

We provide an environment where children can use their imagination for exploration, sharing of ideas and discoveries and initiating interaction with others. We work in small groups to ensure that each child’s needs are met. We provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment in order to allow each child to find his or her highest level of learning success.
